Vitteaut-Alberti

Through a family's dedication, a legacy has been forged, embracing the tradition of Crémant with the essence of Burgundy.

Elegance in effervescence and a commitment to preserving the vitality of their craft define Maison Vitteaut-Alberti. Established in 1951, this estate embodies Rully, Burgundy, a region with a rich heritage in the production of sparkling wines, dating back to 1822.

Visionaries of their time, Lucien Vitteaut and his wife Maria Alberti, chose to specialize in crafting sparkling white wines using the "Champagne Method," creating the distinguished "Vitteaut-Alberti" label.

In 1968, their son Gérard, and his wife Danielle joined the Domaine with a vision of growth and innovation, playing a pivotal role in the creation of the Crémant de Bourgogne Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) in 1975. This solidified the family's commitment to producing the finest sparkling Burgundy wines.

Agnès Vitteaut joined her mother and father in the business in 2004 after having studied Law and Oenology. By 2009, the company increased its vineyard holdings and now own 17 hectares in both the Côte Chalonnaise and Hautes-Côtes de Beaune.

From the delicate Brut with its satiny smooth texture to the Blanc de Blanc exuding purity in mineral freshness, Maison Vitteaut-Alberti showcases a range of exquisite sparkling wines. The refreshing quality of their aromatic Rosé emphasizes finesse in bubbles while their namesake Cuvée Agnes, a meticulous blend of Chardonnay, manifests as a wine of refined structure.

For three generations, the Vitteaut-Alberti family has dedicated itself to the art of sparkling wine, unwavering in their commitment to producing only the highest quality products. Their mission extends beyond the present, as they strive to pass down their wealth of knowledge and expertise for generations to come. This passion and authenticity resonate throughout their team, including vine growers and cellar hands, who collaborate with a shared purpose, blending diverse ideas and techniques to uphold the Maison Vitteaut-Alberti legacy.
