VOSNE-ROMANÉE

Domaine Forey
Père & Fils
Rooted in Burgundy’s most prestigious terroirs, Domaine Forey creates wines that capture the soul of the land.

Tucked in the village of Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Forey Père et Fils quietly commands some of the most prized vineyard sites in all of Burgundy. With holdings that brush shoulders with icons like Richebourg and La Tâche, this multi-generational estate is a hidden gem for those who know where to look.
Founded in 1840, the Domaine is now helmed by father and son Régis and Quentin Forey, who carry forward a legacy of thoughtful, tradition-minded winemaking. Régis took over in 1987 and quickly built a reputation for wines that emphasize site over style—structured, aromatic, and built to age. More recently, the Domaine’s holdings expanded through the inheritance of prized parcels from Domaine Lucien Jacob—a name deeply beloved by many of our clients for its soulful, terroir-driven Burgundies. This connection brought not just land, but a shared ethos: integrity in farming, humility in the cellar, and a deep reverence for place.
The Forey’s vineyard portfolio is exceptional. Premier Cru holdings include Les Perrières and Les Saints-Georges in Nuits-Saint-Georges; Petits Monts and Les Gaudichots in Vosne-Romanée; and a parcel in Morey-Saint-Denis. Petits Monts lies just above Richebourg, while Les Gaudichots borders La Tâche—some of the most storied terroirs in the Côte d'Or.
The Grand Crus are equally noteworthy. Since 1999, the Domaine has rented a prime plot in Clos de Vougeot, located just below Château de la Tour. In Echézeaux, the Forey family owns vines in both the Clos Saint-Denis and Les Treux sections—two of the appellation’s most esteemed sites.
From the Bourgogne Côte d’Or to the Grand Crus, Domaine Forey Père et Fils—now guided by both Régis and Quentin—continues to produce Burgundy of purity, precision, and place. With deep family roots, a meaningful connection to one of our most cherished Domaines and a quiet mastery of some of Burgundy’s finest terroirs, this is Burgundy with soul.
