CÔTE DE BEAUNE

Domaine
Lucien Jacob
Beautiful art is everywhere, on a
wall or in a glass, and to be able to
create both is exceptional.

With their retirement, Domaine Lucien Jacob closes out a remarkable body of work.
What wine remains is limited and will not return, moving steadily into rarity. These are the last bottles from a Domaine that spent decades building its reputation the right way: through family hands, attentive farming, and wines that were always meant to be opened and shared.
Passed through generations and guided since the late 1980’s by Jean-Michel, alongside his wife Christine and sister Chantal, the Domaine spanned nearly 15 hectares across the Hautes-Côtes-de-Beaune and prized parcels in Gevrey Chambertin, Savigny and Beaune 1er Crus. Each site contributed its own voice to a portfolio defined by balance, precision, and an unmistakable sense of place.
These wines are generous, fruit-forward, and expressive in their youth, but it is with time that they truly unfold. Jean-Michel, winemaker and artist, has always approached the cellar like a studio. Each cuvée a composition, each bottle a deliberate stroke. From Savigny-les Beaune to Rosé to Chambolle-Musigny, the range feels less like production and more like expression.
With their last vintage in 2021, what remains is what’s left to discover. If you’d like to explore our limited stock, we’d be happy to hear from you.
These are wines to be collected, to be savoured and passed around the table -
because in the end, the legacy isn’t what we pour its what we share.
