Château
La Fleur de Boüard

From the early flowering

of the vine ‘La Fleur’

Château La Fleur de Boüard comes from the profound belief of its owner,

Hubert de Böuard de Laforest, in the rich potential of Lalande-de-Pomerol terroir.

Born in Saint-Émilion, in the family vines at Château Angélus, the de Boüard’s were convinced that Lalande-de-Pomerol’s vineyards had all the potential to make great wines.

Hubert, supported by his children Coralie and Matthieu, applies technical and oenological know-how in a new, environmentally friendly approach to wine growing. With precision and sustainable purpose, this family makes elegant wines comparable to the greatest Bordeaux. From a seed planted in 1998, Château La Fleur de Boüard has flourished, becoming the flagship of the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation.

From early flowering vines comes La Fleur, as pretty as it sounds,

it tastes, and we are delighted to bring this wine to you.

Tasting Notes

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2018 La Fleur de Boüard displays pronounced scents of baked blackberries, black cherry coulis and tilled soil with hints of kirsch, dried herbs and fungi. Medium to full-bodied with generous black fruits and a soft texture, it has just enough freshness and an earthy finish.
